Q. How can I be qualified to purchase the $9 NVR?

A. Just mix and match any 3 or more cameras in the Build Your Kit (Home version), and the 4CH PoE NVR (LV-N9804B4E) in your shopping cart. You can either buy 3 of the same cameras, or 1 of three different cameras. As long as the order contains total of three cameras or more, you’ll be eligible for the $9 NVR!

Q. Can I purchase the $9 NVR with two or less cameras?

A. Unfortunately, the promotion is only applicable to orders with 3 or more cameras. Orders with less than 3 cameras will be cancelled and refunded.

Q. Did you raise the price of the product in order to run this promotion?

A. No. We provide this offer simply because we want to provide more entry-level security systems as well as opportunities for users to secure their property. As a matter of fact, we reduced the price of most cameras in the Build Your Kit list compared to our normal selling price

Q. Which cameras work with the $9 NVR?

A. You can connect up to 4 cameras to the LV-N9804B4E NVR. The NVR is compatible with 1080P (2MP), 3MP and 4MP IP cameras. The NVR is capable of recording all 4 4MP IP cameras simultaneously.

Q. Can I connect a doorbell camera and floodlight camera to the NVR?

A. Yes. You can connect the LaView Doorbell Camera (1st Gen) – LV-PDB1520F1 , ONE Halo Doorbell camera (2nd Gen) – LV-PDB1630-U , ONE Nova Floodlight camera (LV-PWFL182-U) and ONE PT WiFi camera – LV-PWR362B-U to the NVR via WiFi router. Once the camera is added to the NVR, it will use 1 Channel as an IP camera and you can set to record continuously. Read more information about connecting WiFi cameras to your NVR

Q. Can I connect a 4K Camera to the $9 NVR?

A. Although the NVR may be capable of decoding 1 or 2 4K (8MP) cameras, it may consume most of its resources and not performing stably. We recommend using an 8 CH NVR (LV-N9508Q8E or LV-N9608C8E) if you need to add any 4K IP cameras.

Q. Can I connect the camera to both NVR and VMS (video management system) software like Blue Iris?

A. Yes. You can record the camera feed to Blue Iris and use NVR as a backup storage or vice versa.
